According to James Van Praagh all things have derived from spirits. Life takes a new meaning when viewed from this perspective. He feels that god is also a spirit and is imbued in all living individuals. He expressed many a times that there is a link between the seven centers of the body that corresponds to different colors or sounds called the harmonics.
In his words, Buddhist path or being god consciousness is very important for entering the higher level of consciousness. This can only be done by channeling the bodily energy through the spine up to crown chakra in the head while keenly focusing on mantras, yantras and breathing exercises.
He said that reconnecting with god and inner spirit is very important to establish relationship with one’s spiritual selves. Deep meditation is a great way to connect with the inner self. In James Van Praagh’s opinion, it is easy to fall prey to “victim consciousness”. People should not blame others for their problems. Running away from responsibilities and outcomes of one’s deed will only worsen the problems. Rather, people must learn to take responsibilities of the choices made by them. This is a way great for lessons to be learnt.
In one of the interviews, he expressed that happiness, creativity and good thoughts are all within you. One must be honest to his self. This way more positive thoughts and peace will generate. One must keep in mind that sickness and diseases are outcomes of negative thoughts, impurity and imbalance of mind. So it’s very important to be true to yourself and learn to love no matter who he or she is.
His Thoughts On Death And Grief
In his book “Healing Grief”, he said that people must accept death and learn to live with grief. They should learn how to move on and shouldn’t get struck in grief. People must positively handle grief to emerge as much stronger person.
He expressed that people must gain knowledge of the importance of silence and meditation to balance their body energy levels for a quick spiritual healing.
